In 1999, the Japanese firm NTT DoCoMo released the first smartphones to achieve mass adoption within a country. In 2007 Apple released the I-Phone to achieve mass adoption worldwide.
This series was a part of a group exhibition „Seven Decades of Street Photography“ in 2018 of the famous gallery Deichtorhallen Hamburg – House of Photography.
